A week until 0.13.2 (Out on patreon)


Yooo~ Hana-mo here bringing you the usual wall of text you've come to hate or love!

Patch contents: 

So as I said in the previous devlog, this patch will be a small one, it has quite a bit of fixes and not that much content although it does have a higher amount of animations than normal (NEW: 500~ lines of text / 120~ renders / and 8~ animations)

I won't add any more content to this update (0.13). Any patches to it will be minor fixes and I'm already working to try to make the next one as fast as possible and a lot bigger. 

I'll also try to get at the very least 1 lewd scene in each big update so that there's always something to look forward to (But do understand that as I said in another devlog, I don't like that much incosequential scenes that do not carry any character development or changes in relationships, so if I have to include one but it wouldnt make sense to do so, I'd like to just not do it) let me know your opinion on this-)

Lewd scenes: 

This update also includes my first sex scene and I do have to say I like it a lot more than my first attempts with Clara and Lily.

I don't really like games which have a menu to change between perspectives (except for the option to cum inside or outside, of course) and I didn't want to make a scene out of 3 different angles of the same animation for the entirety of the sex scene, so I opted to learn some basic stuff on a video editing software and put some of them together in a way I thought wouldn't be annoying. (I also let some normal, run of the mill scenes for you to compare them!) 

Please let me know if you like how the editing ended up when you try it! I've improved thanks to some feedback and I'd like some more of it if possible- If I didn't release the game back on January I wouldn't have learned this much after all!

On that topic, I'm still using a render in 1 to 2 sentences because I'm unable to convince myself that it would still look good if I used a render for each 5-7 sentences (When I try it the pacing feels tedious) even tho' as I said before, good games are able to do it no problem and I imagine most people don't care that much if the scene render doesn't make that much sense taking into account what's happening in the dialogue at the moment.

Until I'm able to overcome this, updates will be a tiny bit higher quality and slower to make (I've spent most of my freetime until today writing the future plotpoints and flowchart, designing characters, and making over 1300 renders for a very early low script version, a bit wasteful if you ask me, lol~)

Some other stuff:

I made a thematic graphic for this game-over so that I can use it in future instances and I like how it turned out, so I'm going to leave it here- aswell as a character I'm -mostly- done with and I'm currenly writing background for, the magician Mona!

I think both default and fishnet go good with her color palette, so I'm leaving this out for you all to vote on!
